TOGETHERNESS -- PILOT Manga sub-groups

FINALLY!

This is something I've been wanting to do for quite awhile.

Sub-groups in one of the most focused amateur webcomic groups online.

PILOT Manga from its' beginning was all about building a strong community of SERIOUS amateur comic creators who represented a more complete diversity of thought and perspective.

While the group has produced some of the best new and never before seen creative talent like Philippa Borman, Leonardo Massip and Frederick Ward -- there is still MORE that can be done to bring more unique voices to the fore.

We saw this with February's TEST FLIGHT amateur competition where the fact that we asked for non-Japanese/ American and/or potentially female lead character seemed to engender some (achingly) confusing comments by some members of our group.

We are working hard to raise the level of originality and creativity within webcomics by not shying away from challenging fanboy (and fangirl conventions) and feel that the SUB GROUP will be the best way to handle this.
