OVER 30 ARTISTS WENT IN and LESS THAN 20 SURVIVED for ROUND 3 (arriving this Friday, 3/26/21)
ROUND 2 SPIDERVERSE REDESIGN by Killmasta_milla
Saturday AM kicked off the DIVERSE MANGA movement in 2013 and in 2016 launched one of the TOUGHEST ART CONTESTS with March ART Madness.
A 5-week 64 artist mano-a-mano event where every week a NEW ARTWORK from a NEW THEME for a GRAND PRIZE of MONEY, ART SUPPLIES, and TABLETS!!
This year’s event has been a slugfest from the start and round 2 was even more difficult. As there were too many artists after ROUND 1 — we opted for 150 pt MINIMUMS required to survive. While BONUS POINTS helped — the KEY was to get more VOTES from viewers — LIKE YOU.
While we had ONE EXTRA ARTIST for ROUND 3, we had many artists who WON their matchup but FAILEDE to hit the 150 point threshold. Killmastamilla is a good example as his contest with Mo3_black was CLOSE (146 vs 133, respectively) but NEITHER WAS ABLE TO ADVANCE.
So, it was TOUGH! With THEMES like TRANSFORMERS, HE-MAN, SPIDERMAN: SPIDERVERSE, MYHTOLOGY, and NARUTO….ROUND 2 was AMAZING. But don’t take our word for it…. WHYT MANGA, JEYODIN, and others gave their thoughts in our LIVE REVIEW SHOW.
