Last month, Saturday AM debuted our BRAND-NEW SUBMISSIONS process and the RESPONSE was AMAZING!
BETTER OFF IGNORANT is one of Saturday AM’s beloved titles from young, new creators.
Truly talented creators from the the PHILIPPINES, NETHERLANDS, ITALY, ZIMBABWE, SPAIN, and the USA submitted their webcomics for us to consider adding to our diverse manga comics anthologies, Saturday AM and Saturday PM. The submitted comics ranged from action-packed superhero dramas to horror to comedy to high fantasy and more!
A couple of things we were particularly intrigued by was that many of the entries were unique concepts and only one submission didn’t adhere to the rules. This is a marked improvement over our previous creator outreach efforts. Likewise, some creators we recognized as former PILOT Manga community members while others were completely new to us. This makes us incredibly excited as the growth of the Saturday AM brand and mission to make manga more diverse has not only inspired many competitors but it has also sparked the interests of new and older creators from around the world.
As is stands, we cannot publish them all and we made the difficult decision to only select 5 to pursue as potential additions to Saturday AM and Saturday PM magazines respectively. That said, SUBMIT has been a massive success for us to see and potentially work with EXISTING WEBCOMIC CREATORS. To see NEW CREATORS being PUBLISHED FOR the 1st time – tune into our #summerofmanga experience within current issues of Saturday AM!
NONE ARE GUARANTEED to end up being published BUT we hope to have discussions with each of the following series creators later this week to determine next steps.

REMEMBER:
Your submission must have AT LEAST 50 pages published on a reputable website.
You must be over 19yrs old.
You must have an original concept (no fan fiction).
