Q: WHY DOES SATURDAY AM HAVE A KICKSTARTER?
First, after 4.5 yrs of growing the World’s MOST DIVERSE SHONEN MANGA ANTHOLOGY – we wanted to bring Saturday AM to your local stores so that we can show our brand right next to the sort of manga products that inspired us. Why can’t you find APPLE BLACK, HAMMER and SAIGAMI next to DRAGONBALL, FAIRY TAIL, and more?
Second, we enjoy and will continue our digital strategy which includes KINDLE and AMAZON exclusive books but for retail – we need to have a different type of graphic novel design. To print AND store inventory is an expensive effort and we’ll need additional funds to handle that. In BOTH cases, KICKSTARTER seemed an ideal resource that would assist us without requiring sacrifices to creator vision and creator ownership that we built our company on.
Q: WHEN DOES THE KICKSTARTER BEGIN and END?
The KICKSTARTER has begun and will end on 11/1. We are 52% of the way to our goal and if we can exceed our goal – our plan will be to introduce even more unique products and rewards for our fans!

Easy — BECOME A SUPPORTER of our KICKSTARTER! This is NOT SUBSCRIBING to our magazine but this involves going to our CAMPAIGN PAGE on the KICKSTARTER site and watching the video, reading the text, check out the pictures AND then IF you think you’d like to support us — then CHOOSE A REWARD. The MONEY you are offering WILL ONLY be taken AFTER the KICKSTARTER is successful. If it is not — then you will NOT be charged.
