Christmas came early! We just got our first look at the highly anticipated Saturday AM: Battle Manga, currently in development by the incredibly talented team over at Son Studios.
Saturday AM: Battle Manga is the first official video game based on the popular Saturday AM manga brand, bringing together fan-favorite characters from hit series like Clock Striker, Apple Black, Hammer, and Soul Beat. The game is a fast-paced 2v2 fighter, blending high-energy brawler combat with character designs inspired directly by both the manga and the unique visual style of each series’ original creator.
Built to capture the intensity and flair of Japanese battle manga, the game features bold presentation, dynamic animations, and stylistic flourishes designed to feel like the pages are coming to life. Planned with rollback netcode for online play, Saturday AM: Battle Manga has officially entered full development, with this reveal trailer offering an early glimpse at the initial character models and animations created in the Unreal Engine.
